Sunday Morning News Show: The Primaries
“Now for some predictions about the GOP
nominee?“, inquired the affable anchor during the penultimate segment of the
program.
“It’s going to be Jeb Bush,” replied the
senior conservative columnist rather tersely.
“Bush as the nominee, but Rubio competitive,”
said the young left wing blogger.
“Scott Walker could present serious
competition, but I agree it has to be Bush,” said the senior journalist.
“Bush followed closely by Kasich” said the
former congressional representative.
“There is no doubt it will be Jeb, but Rubio,
Kasich and Christie will provide stiff competition. In the end, Hillary will be
our next President,” said the political commentator to gentle laughter that
provided a launch to the concluding segment.
“President Jeb it will be” countered a former
senior advisor to a former president immediately more gentle laughter followed.
‘Lastly, what about a certain Donald Trump”
inquired the anchor with a deriding smirk. There were of sighs and groans
across the panel.
“This is not only a bloviating ignoramus but
a deranged narcissistic buffoon. We hear such talk from an inebriated chump at
a pub on a Friday night,” said the former congressional representative as
cackles spread across the panel. “We degrade ourselves and this panel each time
we mention that name,” he added disdainfully.
“I would have called him is dangerous, but he
is too ludicrous to be that. Clearly, he sees this race an opportunity for
copious publicity and the media obliges him. To quote Shaw in Pygmalion - He
incarnates insult to the noble architecture of Washington with every syllable
he utters…..or Tweets,” said a senior conservative commentator in his signature
monotonous mournful tone to a laughing panel.
“This man is attempting to secure a job once
held by Lincoln. Let’s not forget that,” said a senior journalist shaking her
head in dismay “Look at the bombast and abominable manner in which he launched
his campaign. Luckily for us, he has offended too many to be a factor in this
race. The things he has said about minorities, women….his road to the White
House is not difficult…it is impossible. After he is done with this abominable
experiment he can write a book entitled ‘How not to run for President”
she concluded more laughter from panelists
“He’ll be lucky if his immediate family voted
for him. He is too preposterous to be perilous. These high numbers poll are
inconsequential. This is a phenomenon not dissimilar to Herman Kane and
Michelle Bachman, leap to straight to top upon launch, melt into thin air a
weeks later,” said a former senior advisor to a former president.
“The GOP does not want Trump to be the
nominee. Still better, Trump himself does not want to be the nominee or even
the President. The only person who wants him as the nominee is Hillary Clinton.
It will ensure that she gets the job. The best way to cover Trump is to put him
in the entertainment section,” concluded the young blogger of a prominent
liberal news site.
In the end: The
GOP Nominee is Donald J. Trump with the most votes in the history of primaries.
Sunday Morning News Show: The Presidential Election
“With the third debate is concluding; we have
very little time before the big day. Let us go around the table for your
predictions “, inquired the affable anchor in the concluding segment of the
program.
“This was never a contest. It's a great shame that
she had to endure these attacks from the greatest practical joke in the history of mankind aka the Trump campaign,” replied the senior conservative columnist
rather tersely.
“It’s just a matter of how wide a margin
Hillary gets” said the young left wing blogger.
“I am going to be a proud grandmother telling
my granddaughter that nothing is impossible. Despite all the vicious negativity, the sexism and the hate we will elect the first in the series of many female Presidents to come,” said the senior journalist. Restrained cheers all over.
“How do i express myself differently. How about...Bill Clinton will be the first dude,” said the
former congressional representative to much laughter from the panel.
“I’ve been saying this for months, Hillary
will be our next President, She wins 400+ electoral college votes” said the
political commentator to gentle laughter that provided a launch to the
concluding segment.
“With a heavy heart as a Republican I have to agree. Trump keeps mentioning the lines and the crowds at his 'rallies'. Well if you have an insult comic doing
shows free of charge, people turn up in huge numbers and queue up for the show. When it is time
to take a decision about the serious business of running the country they know
he is not the right person. I know he will Tweet calling me a light weight and
a loser, but he is soon to be rendered irrelevant.” countered a former senior
advisor to a former president immediately more gentle laughter followed.
‘A perfect segue way to my final
question. What happens to Donald Trump
after the elections?” inquired the anchor with a smirk. There were of sighs and
groans across the panel.
“Our national nightmare will be over,” said
the former congressional representative as cackles spread across the panel. “He
will go back to the where he belongs, the gaudy and ostentatious halls of Trump
Tower. I don’t see him do much else,” he added disdainfully.
“What worries me is his utterance that he
won’t accept the results. With his rowdy supporters, many of whom have anger for women and minorities. They are still out there, I fear the worst.
The question is where does he lead this mob. How bad will it be? These 'lock her up' crew will try their best to make Hillary’s tenure a nightmare. We may see
constant protesting with the right wing media going ballistic. A black man
followed by a woman is not something they are going to tolerate. But we have to stand by her. Expect daily,
perhaps hourly insane Twittering” said a senior conservative commentator in with
concern in his voice to sighs all across the room.
“I repeat this again, this man had the
audacity to try for a job once held by Lincoln.” said a senior journalist
shaking her head in dismay “But I am concerned too, I was at the rally when he
said if he loses it is rigged. The vibe I got from that crowd is inexplicable.
They looked like mob about to go on a rampage. I have covered politics for
thirty year and I have never seen a more divisive and positively dangerous
campaign. I just hope things settle down and Hillary can focus on running the
country” she concluded
“After all the vicious attacks on women, it
will be sheer poetic justice with Trump suffers a humiliating defeat at the
hands of a woman. His whole brand is about ‘winning’. The Trump brand has
already been destroyed, but the defeat will seal its future. He may become a
recluse ala Howard Hughes. He will peddle a whole myriad of conspiracy theories
about the ‘establishment’ rigging the elections. I just know that this is not
going to end well. We as a media are also to blame. We laughed at his outrages
remarks and now he is the monster and we are all Doctor Frankenstein,” said a
former senior adviser to a former president.
“The GOP has to do some serious soul searching,
I mean how did they get this so wrong. Regarding Donald Trump, I suspect he may
launch a sort of Fox New network. I have hear rumors that many at Fox may leave
to join his network, there may be some right wing radio hosts as well. Perhaps
this was all a carefully conceived strategy to create a base for his media
empire. Trump may be the next Murdoch. We may learn in that this was
the ultimate goal in the first place. Not the presidency but to be able to control the narrative
through a news network” concluded the young blogger of a prominent liberal news
site.
“I just look forward to November 8th
and Trump’s concession speech. I have suspicions that he may never deliver the
speech. He has said if he loses it will be a ‘total waste of money and time. He
will probably fly straight to Mar-a-lago and stay there for a long, long, I
mean really long time” countered a former senior advisor to a former president
immediately more gentle laughter followed.
In the end: Donald J. Trump is elected the 45 President of the United
States.

Weekly Newsroom: The Trump Presidency
“Your impressions of the Trump Presidency “,
inquired the affable anchor at the beginning of the program
“Each time I say ‘President Trump’, I am
reminded that this man lost the popular vote. There are also unanswered
questions about the Russian interference. His hesitation to reject Putin is
equally troubling. I do not see Washington, the American public or his staff having the patience for all this. I suspect he will be ‘restrained’ by
Washington, all this big talk and bombast will not be ignored,” he added
disdainfully.
“It is our job now to expose his every lie. Our sloppiness is probably the reason he is occupying
the most powerful position in the world. There also needs to be a discussion of
the value of the Electoral College. So far, I have seen nothing that would
suggest that the presidency would be dissimilar to his campaign. A troubling
level of randomness coupled with bombast. He may have miraculously managed to
prevail in the contest but governing is a totally different ball game,” said a
senior conservative commentator his countenance turning drearier than ever
“We
use the word “unprecedented” has been used a great deal while dealing with
Donald Trump. However, I do think something unprecedented is happening. We saw
a grassroots movement rise up against the divisive, sexist, racist tone of this
campaign. Millions of Americans marching to maintain the principles that made this
country what is. I think, play out in a big way all through his tenure.” said
a senior journalist shaking her head in dismay
“There has been a dark tone to every
‘serious’ speech that Trump has delivered. The ‘serious’ ones are the
teleprompter speeches, not the incoherent babbling we hear at the rallies,” remarked
a former senior advisor to a former president, there were giggles all over.
“America is the leader of the free world. What is being said now is we take a
back seat? We allow dictators to rule with an iron fist because it does not
affect us? Do you think we could have this during the 30s? The level of
capriciousness is such that he may change his mind tomorrow.” I think
“I genuinely believe, this isn’t going to
last for very long, we have never in the history of our country had a foreign
government interfere in our elections with the hacking and the misinformation
campaign. Once the facts are out, I predict Trump will be history. We can then
go back to the painful process of restoring dignity to the white house”
concluded the young blogger of a prominent liberal news site.
Prediction: Donald J. Trump
will be a very successful two term President fulfilling all the promises he
made to the American people.
Conclusion: The media and the establishment never got it, never tried to get it and never will get it. They have disdain for Trump and the regular folks who voted. They will try their best to go after him. It is therefore essential that every supporter express their support passionately and loudly. This means you attend every rally and march in Trump's support. You write and call all your local politicians expressing support for Trump. You never ever relent or give up no matter what the pressure it. This is your second freedom struggle. United you will succeed.
