It has been almost a year since Joe Biden entered the White House and the result is crises galore.
Annual inflation has
reached a thirty-year high, there is a supply chain crisis, the forced vaccine mandates are likely to
cause staff shortage for essential government services such as law enforcement, fire brigade, and hospitals, finally, there is the southern border crisis
that has caused an influx of illegal immigrant.
Biden's ill-planned withdrawal from
Afghanistan has left that country volatile and on the verge of a grave humanitarian crisis.
If a manifesto were to be authored on how to
destroy the US, its reputation, and every inviolable fundamental principle it
was founded on, all the items that the Biden administration has ruined would be
on the list.
We go back to the fundamentals.
For a citizen, the path to happiness is freedom
and the path to freedom begins with economic empowerment.
When you are prospering economically the number of
opportunities you are presented with automatically increases.
Your purchasing power rises i.e. you can dine at a
fine restaurant, holiday at a deluxe resort, you can afford to live in a good
neighborhood and you can buy luxury vehicles. You invest wisely and accumulate
a handsome bank balance in case of a rainy day
Your ability to buy enables other businesses and
individuals to flourish which causes a wave of prosperity.
You live as you please and do as you desire, you
do not have to rely on anybody. You are independent.
This makes the government a peripheral player in
your life. You may need essential services such as law enforcement, hospitals,
and fire brigade in rare emergency situations, but that is it. The sole contact
you have with the government is when you pay your taxes.
This is exactly what happened following the
economic prosperity under the Trump Presidency before Covid19 struck.
Things are different now.
If you run a small business or are
employed the Biden administration has a number of ways to harm you and render
you out of work.
It may be the faltering economy or the
vaccine mandate or a ‘Let’s go Brandon’ meme you shared on social media that
compels your employer to sack you or maybe you protested against CRT being taught in your child’s
school.
In addition to that, basic items are
either expensive or unavailable. If there is lawlessness there are few
officials around to restore order. The value of your citizenship has diminished
because foreigners who have flooded your neighborhoods now have identical
rights.
The impact may not be apparent immediately
but will be obvious in time.
The result of these various crises under the Biden
administration and the invasive mandates will
be a struggle for survival and a feeling of being repressed.
The consequence is unhappiness, anger,
resentment, desperation, and even violence in rare cases.
Whom are people compelled to turn to
in desperate situations?
But of course, the government.
The government offers protection,
benefits, and various other handouts for you and your family.
In time, a large section among citizens
is totally dependent.
But nothing is ever free of cost, once
you are indebted to the government you have to follow what they order.
For instance, the government can order
you and your family to take the vaccine or you won't get your benefits. You
comply because you cannot survive without the benefits.
The government controls all that you
need and you have no choice but to obediently follow orders.
The government that was a peripheral
player during economic prosperity is now domineering and imposing.
The citizen gradually learns to submit
to avoid trouble and soon there is total compliance to the groupthink.
The very rich and powerful in
Washington, Wall Street, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and beyond will not be
affected by all this. In fact, they become fortify their situation and become
more powerful.
This increases income inequality, an
issue that the left claims to be an ardent advocate of.
This is exactly how big government
functions.
Ask anybody who has lived in Cuba or
Venezuela.
Beyond local issues, the disaster in
Afghanistan has hurt America’s reputation making it look like an untrustworthy
and unreliable ally.
The question remains what
caused these disasters?
What is plain incompetence?
Is it conceivable that despite their talents and
efforts things just work out due to bad luck?
Was this a deliberate effort to create the
necessary turbulence to destroy a nation and then rebuild it on progressive
ideals?
For the left, Biden, owing to his declining
cognitive abilities, was the perfect empty vessel that enabled them to push
their agenda.
Biden has trouble remembering the names of his
colleagues, his legacy, and how history will judge him are the least of his
concerns.
They also know, when the experiment of pushing the
agenda fails Biden gets all the blame and they just move on.
But they can at least push some key items on their
agenda across the finishing line such as the 1.2 Trillion dollar infrastructure
bill. A lot can happen in one year while the Left is in control of the White
House, Congress, and the Senate.
Biden is most likely going to be a one-term
president anyway, it is doubtful if he will seek reelection after his
plummeting approval ratings.
However, Biden was surrounded by
people of experience during his transition to the White House. These people
were undoubtedly responsible for all the key appointments in his cabinet.
If they wanted things to go well, they
would have hired people who could at least deliver the basics while
implementing their agenda gradually.
Instead, they got on board the likes of Kamala
Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Lloyd Austin, Alejandro
Mayorkas, Anthony Blinken, Janet Yellen, Merrick Garland, and Jennifer Granholm.
These people have no significant achievements to
their records and have no demonstrable acumen for delivering results.
To make matters worse the Squad and socialist Bernie Sanders are pulling the
strings from outside.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility that
these ‘talents’ were hired knowing that they would deliver catastrophes.
In other words, what appears to
regular people as complete anarchy is exactly what the left wants.
A nation of chaos and a desperate
citizenry that makes the government a supreme power.
This is an opportunity for complete
transformation.
Their targets will be those whom they
cannot win over electorally.
If this group is compelled into
submission by threat or made irrelevant by the influx of outsiders, they are
not only in complete control but they can also ensure permanence of power like
they have in California and New York.
Perhaps these crises are not
accidents, after all.
