As long as it is a doctor prescribing a slightly expensive cough
syrup that was the equivalent of your standard cough syrup with the same
healing properties and mimicable side effects, it could be overlooked.
But matters have over the years gone overboard to such an extent
that it can be regarded as an emergency.
Hulu's miniseries 'Dopesick' based on a book of the same name exposed the major conflict of interest and
collusion between big Pharma and the medical community
The series uncovers the causes and effects of the opioid crisis
unleashed across the US by Purdue Pharma, and
its “non-addictive” painkiller OxyContin. The series depicts how the Sackler
family who owns Purdue Pharma used their clout and their pecuniary power to
compromise regulatory authorities, members of the medical profession, Hospital
owners and politicians were coopted to promote their ‘miracle’ drugs.
We tend to think of drug addicts as slippery, disheveled individuals
with questionable hygienic practices who buy dope from shady dealers in the
darkest part of the city. They are usually found in a state of inebriation lying
across pavements. They are regarded as reckless.
But these poor souls were prescribed drugs by doctors that was
approved by all regulatory authorities and find themselves in a similar situation.
This was and continues to be a travesty, As the opioid crisis continues to ravage the
country killing more than 130 people per day in the U.S
Also embroiled in thousands of lawsuits concerning its role in the
opioid epidemic is a firm called Endo Pharmaceuticals for their painkiller drug
named Opana ER.
But that is not Endo Pharmaceutical’s claim to notoriety.
Breitbart reported Dr. Jeremi Carswell is the Director
of the Gender Multispecialty Service at the Boston Children’s Hospital and
received financial compensation from Endo Pharmaceuticals, the producer of the
puberty blocking drug.
Breitbart reveals that the
hospital is “home to the first pediatric and adolescent
transgender health program in the United States.”
The hospital opposes legislation that prevent children who
identify as transgender from receiving puberty blockers, hormone therapy, or
other medical interventions framed as “gender-affirmative” care.
The
hospital’s website claims they are the first in the U.S.
to focus on gender-diverse and transgender adolescents. Since that time, they have
expanded our program to welcome patients from ages 3 to 25.
You read that right, the patients as young as 3 are ‘welcomed’.
The Boston
Children’s Hospital notes that they do offer puberty
blockers to children as part of their “gender-affirming” model of care. The
hospital is associated with Harvard University.
A report from ProPublica, an independent,
non-profit newsroom, revealed what we all suspected that doctors prescribe a
drug more often when they have received payments from pharmaceutical companies,
particularly when those payments are related to the specific drug.
Breitbart revealed that an article was co-written by Carswell titled “Pubertal suppression for
transgender youth and risk of suicidal ideation” had to be amended after it
claimed the authors had no potentially conflicting interests. The article added
a note that Carswell “has received an advisory board stipend from Endo
Pharmaceuticals.”
In a different article titled “Addressing Legislation That Restricts Access To Care
For Transgender Youth,” the conflict of interest statement notes that “Dr.
Carswell previously served as a consultant to Endo Pharmaceuticals in June
2018.”
Endo Pharmaceuticals is currently under investigation by Texas
Attorney General Ken Paxton for allegedly promoting and advertising puberty
blockers “for unapproved uses without disclosing the potential risks
associated with these drugs to children and their parents.”
Endo Pharmaceuticals is currently $8 billion in debt and is considering filing for
bankruptcy.
Tucker
Carlson covered the impact of the anti-depressants SSRI or Selective
serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Carlson noted that between 1991 and 2018, total SSRI
prescriptions in the U.S. rose by more than 3,000%. The number of prescriptions
for the most common SSRI hit 224 million last year while the population is around
330 million people.
But instead of curing depression, the suicide rate, which may be
the most reliable indicator of depression, has risen by 35%.
The claims of effectiveness of the COVID-19 Vaccines have been
overstated by doctors and government personnel.
The proponents first claimed that those who are
fully vaccinated are protected from COVID-19. When the vaccinated
were infected, they claimed vaccinated individuals won’t suffer during their
infection. When the vaccinated people suffered during their infection, they
claimed the vaccinated will certainly survive their infection. When some
vaccinated individuals died, they claim that deaths were rare or due to
pre-existing conditions. They also keep redefining the term 'fully vaccinated'
by adding boosters.
The FDA and CDC safety surveillance systems have identified increased
risks of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis
(inflammation of tissues surrounding the heart) following vaccination with
the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.
This insanity has to stop.
The question is who will do it
